Independent research suggests that the Arizona SBDC Network makes an important economic contribution to the economic development of the state of Arizona; that it is both effective and efficient in the discharge of its mission; and that businesses which utilize SBDC services tend to realize greater sales increases and create more jobs than Arizona businesses in general.*
In the past year alone (2010), AZSBDC Centers:
- Served more than 3,500 clients;
- Helped start more than 300 businesses;
- Created or retained more than 2,200 jobs;
- Helped clients increase revenues by more than $68.8 million;
- Helped clients obtain over $70.1 million in capital. **
